About Julie
Julie Bidwell is a commercial and editorial photographer based in Connecticut blogging about her work and things that interest her. She graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Photography and studied under Ben Fernandez with Parsons School of Design in Paris after graduation. She started her career in New York working for Duggal Color as studio manager, after 4 years she moved to Los Angeles to work as studio manager to 2 top photographers. Eventually she made her way back to CT and started shooting on her own. She shoots environmental portraits, travel, lifestyle, food and still life. She is the proud mom of Brian who will be a senior in college and keeps Julie up to date on current music and technology.
